- Never fold a bag into a stuff/compression sack. Always scrunch, or twist it in. This will prolong the lofting abilities of the filling.
- Never store a bag in a bag in a compacted state. Always store hanging vertically, or flat under a bed.
- The use of a cotton liner will help to reduce soiling, and reduce the need for cleaning.
- Always consult manufacturers guidelines before attempting to clean a bag.
- Take care with a wet a bag - you can damage the internal baffles.
